MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING
Licensed School Nurses will be given the option to timecard up to 8 hours for duties that must be completed prior to contracted staff start date. These 8 hours must be approved by a building administrator or an assistant director of student services with a submitted plan. These 8 hours are accompanied by a plan.
Duties that may be done at this time include, but are not limited to: meeting with parents of students with complex conditions, a new nurse at a school with a setting 3 program, prep for health services training, or create a new health plan for newly diagnosed students (ie diabetes).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The School Board of Independent School District 623 and Education Minnesota-Roseville, as Exclusive Representative of teachers in District 623, has executed this CONTRACT and cause it to be signed by their representatives this 1st day of April, 2026.
